How do I get a quote?
You can request a quote online or call us on (03) 5077 3265. We will arrange an on-site inspection at a time that suits you. Our quotes are detailed, itemised and obligation-free.
How long does a quote take to prepare?
We typically provide your written quote within 3–5 business days of the on-site inspection. Complex or large-scale projects may take a little longer as we ensure every element is covered.
Do you offer virtual or photo-based quotes?
For initial estimates we can review photos, but we always carry out an in-person inspection before providing a formal quote. Accurate quoting depends on assessing substrate condition, access requirements and surface preparation needs first-hand.
What areas do you service?
We service Melbourne's inner east, including Hawthorn, Hawthorn East, Kew, Toorak, South Yarra, Richmond, Canterbury, Camberwell, Malvern, Balwyn, Armadale and surrounding suburbs.
On Site
What hours do your painters work?
Our standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm. We do not work weekends on residential sites unless specifically arranged with the homeowner.
Do I need to be home during the project?
Not necessarily. Many of our clients provide access arrangements so our team can work while you are at work or away. We are fully insured and all team members have current police checks.
How do you protect furniture and flooring?
We use quality cotton and plastic drop sheets to protect all furniture, flooring and fixtures. Rooms are prepared before any work begins and we clean up at the end of each day.
How long will my project take?
Project duration depends on the size and complexity of the job. A single room may take 1–2 days, while a full interior and exterior repaint of a large home may take 3–6 weeks. We provide a clear timeline in our quote and keep you updated throughout.
Products & Finishes
What paint brands do you use?
We use premium Australian paint brands including Dulux, Haymes and Taubmans. We are a Haymes Trade Pro member. Product selection depends on the substrate, location and finish required — we will recommend the best product for each application.
Can you help with colour selection?
Yes. We can provide guidance on colour selection based on our experience with similar homes in the area. For heritage homes, we work with recognised heritage colour ranges. We also work alongside colour consultants and interior designers if you have engaged one.
Do you handle wallpaper removal?
Yes. We remove wallpaper, repair the substrate underneath and prepare the surface for painting. This is a common service for older homes where wallpaper has been applied over original plaster.
Owners Corporations & Body Corporate
Do you work with owners corporations?
Yes. We regularly work with owners corporations and body corporate managers on apartment buildings and multi-unit developments. We provide detailed specifications, can attend committee meetings, and work within agreed access schedules.
Can you provide a specification document for our committee?
Absolutely. We prepare detailed scope-of-work documents that outline every element of the project, including surface preparation, products, colours and staging. This helps your committee make informed decisions.
Pricing & Payment
How is your pricing structured?
We provide fixed-price quotes based on the scope of work discussed during the inspection. Our quotes are itemised so you can see exactly what is included. There are no hidden costs.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes, we require a deposit upon acceptance of the quote to secure your booking in our schedule. The balance is due on completion of the project. Payment terms are outlined clearly in your quote.
Are you insured?
Yes. We carry comprehensive public liability insurance and workers compensation insurance. Certificates of currency are available upon request.
